Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD UAE · Provide detailed financial analysis on potential projects as part of the concept development phase · Support the Managing Director and other Directors with detailed and accurate financial, business intelligence and commercial inputs on all projects enabling effective decision-making · Responsible for developing and maintaining standardized financial models, forecasts and budgets across the portfolio · Build and strengthen the finance and reporting function of the business, and all its projects · Establish and implement best-in-class financial standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for all projects under the overall framework · Develop and maintain, in early incubation stage, and oversee, at later stage, financial models for all projects in different sectors and at various growth stages. The models should provide comprehensive financial statements along with key KPIs · Provide periodic detailed financial reports on the division to the management for consolidation purposes, (such as weekly funds position, monthly budget vs. actuals (with explanations for variances, cash flows, income statement and balance sheet with schedules etc.) · Develop own professional expertise through optimising on-the-job training opportunities and formal training situations in order to improve levels of personal performance KEY INGREDIENTS · Degree or MBA (preferred) in Finance, Accounting or related field · Must be a chartered accountant with a corporate finance education at undergraduate of master's level · Minimum of 10 years experience within a Finance / Accounting role with background In financial modelling · Excellent knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting concepts · Excellent analytical, quantitative and modeling skills; specifically analyzing complex operating/financial/valuation models · Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively · Excellent communication, written and verbal skills in English · Arabic is considered added value
