15 yearsJob Description : National Sales and Distribution Manager TANZANIA conglomerate needs is a dynamic professional who carries over 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, distribution management and CRM. You would come from a strong direct distribution model, should have led a substantial team, should have the proven ability to manage operations and formulate the glide path for the business for the future. Industry experience could be from consumer goods fmcg industries...as long as there is a substantial length and breadth of experience in wholesale and retail to drive a business which is rapidly on the upward swing. These are a few areas that would be key for the incumbent to drive Strategic Planning Taking from concept to implementation strategies for developing and expanding market share Work cross functionally to be able to address issues and arrive at cohesive solutions. Distribution Management Optimize, review and ramp up the current operations to drive weighted numeric distribution. Business Development Identify growth opportunities, align teams to deliver to the same. Ability to look at the larger picture when formulating plans for the future. Direct sales distribution experience is an absolute must have. Only shortlisted candidates would be contacted with further information. MBA preferably with 15+ years of holistic and qualitative sales experience in any industry supporting direct sales & distribution Astute professional who carries not only operational excellence but the ability to put strategy plans together as well. Prior experience in developing and deploying RTM strategies would be great to have Excellent communicator who can not only influence but can present to a Board as well
