25 yearsJob Description : President /Sr Vice President /Vice Presidents – Manufacturing Operations -Chemicals -Gujarat To Manage Operations Efficiently through Implementation of Robust Systems to Build World Class Manufacturing Responsibilities: Strategic & Tactical responsibility for implementing Manufacturing Strategy & Strategic/Operational Goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost & delivery, maximizing efficiency, Optimizing production levels & driving operational excellence. This role encompasses complete Overall Responsibility of Managing the Operations, & Inspire & lead Cross functional Team effectively. Work closely with internal & external key stakeholders, on technical support striving for best in class products & business practices to deliver to the expectations. Leadership Development Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans & culture to support the business objectives. Drive KPI’s across all areas of the Manufacturing function to ensure that all Projects are delivered on cost & on time to the highest quality Standards Direct & Drive implementation of TQM & Lean Business strategy & drive Continuous Improvement Introduce World Class Manufacturing practices to improve product quality & process Improvements Cost, Profitability & Profitability Ensure Identification of improvement opportunities. Plan & Implement the approved plans. Compare with benchmarks & Introduce Best Manufacturing Practices Plan, review & guide the Manufacturing Teams & Utilities to get optimum costs. To continuously work towards Fixed cost reduction, improvement in both white & blue-collar productivity. Guide implementation of people development programmes. Work for growth opportunities for the team members People Development To Coach, mentor & develop direct reports & manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value & cost reductions Improve the Morale of the employees to get the optimum Performance. Guide implementation of people development programmes. Work for growth opportunities for the team members Statutory Compliance Ensure systems & processes for compliance to statutory regulations. Review & monitor deviations from laws, rules & established practices. Ensure compliance of all requirements. Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental issues are prioritized & facilitated. Create counter measures for major incidents . Support to reduce accident opportunities through review of improvement plans. Review environmental Strategies that impact on future business operations Review the use of technological systems that support a more environmentally friendly approach Champion for the implementation of CSR activities Chemical Engr’s With about Exp Ranging from 20-30 Years in Managing Operations of Professionally Managed Large Chemical Organization.
