Group Financial Controller

Job Description : GROUP FC AFRICA One of Africa’s leaders within the FMCG space is looking to add a business savvy, insightful and experienced Financial Controller to their ever-growing team. The entity currently boasts with a massive African market share, servicing over 800million customers and having an impactful presence within more than half of all the African countries. The company has also ensured it diversified its product offerings through covering both the beverage and food product sectors. The role will focus on overseeing income statement and balance sheets of all Business Units (based throughout Africa), reviewing financial performance against annual plan, working hand in hand with finance leadership within the different business units, strengthening internal controls within all business units, chairing the audit committee meeting for all business units, ensure correct and accurate accounting, ensuring compliance to group policies, compiling and ensuring accurate group financial reporting pack for each business unit and also playing a critical role in offering insight on potential operational investment opportunities, business expansion and profit improvement. Education: CA, CA ( SA) preferred designation OR ACMA designation – non-negotiable Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 14 – 15 years post article experience within the commercial sector in Financial Controlling / Financial Management roles Experience within a product based / product driven sector Experienced working with a large / multinational organisation Experience working with or travelling to African countries – highly advantageous
