Job Description : HEAD OF MODERN TRADE THAILAND A leading FMCG nutrition company is looking for a Head of Modern Trade (x1 vacancy) in Bangkok to manage total modern trade sales team to support the business vision of the company. About the Head of Modern Trade Role: As the Head of Modern Trade and reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will lead the unit sales team in delivering company’s sales fundamentals across modern trade channel thus, achieving monthly and annual value and volume set targets. The salary offered is competitive with fixed bonus and car allowance. Key Responsibilities: · Developing and leading the sales team to deliver sustained competitive edge of company products and range at the point of purchase for customers across the modern trade channel · Leads sales unit assigned towards the consistent attainment of company sales fundamentals per supplier category and per channel / customer / outlet · Works with suppliers, company marketing & sales departments, as well as assigned customers departments to make decisions relating to growing business results & ensuring proper volume growth, pricing, shelving; merchandising and POS material placement per brand · Understand retailer perspective and align same with company’s perspective via information gathering, mapping out of his/ her top accounts strategy and via developing the appropriate action plans to improve business results per category and per brand for assigned customers · Carry out quarterly business reviews, monthly sales meetings for assigned channel and weekly meetings with sales unit · Increase sales volume to meet the target, also promote and build brand awareness of assigned products · Inspire, train & motivate team members in order to achieve company monthly and yearly objectives · Liaise with related teams to ensure all operation will comply with standard process of company and business partners such as sales, marketing, supply chain and services (sales & technical) functions · Responsible for achieving the customer satisfaction level assigned and solves any problems related To succeed in the Head of Modern Trade job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other account managers. Key Requirements: · Bachelor or master’s degree in Marketing or Business administration or related · Minimum 10 years as modern trade sales management from FMCG industry · Experienced from global food & beverage business will be advantage · Strong business connection with modern trade channel · Strong in data analytic and sales strategy · Possesses very good communication with excellent written & spoken and interpersonal skills
