Job Description : CEO THAILAND A well-known company in food manufacturing is looking for the Chief Operating Officer to be based in Bangkok to support their expanding operations in Thailand market. About The Chief Operating Officer - Food Manufacturing Role: In this role you will be responsible for providing overall leadership in terms of commercial, support, business development and manufacturing operational functions to deliver on financial and operational targets. Reporting directly to board of directors, the salary offered is competitive with provident fund and medical insurance. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the overall organisation in order to grow the company’s profitability, enhance the company’s competitiveness, and ensure its long-term growth sustainability, via prioritising its objectives and targets, constantly identifying potential opportunities and challenges as well as ways to leverage and capitalise them, and driving strategies and implementation plans to achieve target · Work with C-suites to plan, prepare and monitor company’s business plan and budget so as to maximise contributions to profit · Accountable for developing the annual budget and capital expense approvals are carried out in a planned and timely manner · Growth-centered targets (business expansion, oversea growth) – work in collaboration with Head of Sales and Business Development · Work closely with CFO on cash-flow management and CFO and COO margins improvement · Formulate and drive effective business strategy in conjunction with the board and shareholders · Lead strategic planning and execution activities supporting the organisation’s vision and goals The successful candidate must have strong sense of commercial, production background is desirable with a minimum fifteen year's work experience in food manufacturing and dynamic working environment. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, or any related field · CEO or GM experience in food manufacturing industry (experience in B2B environment is a plus) · Confident and decisive but not over-sharing, capable of building respect with internal and external parties · A self-driven person who takes ownership and initiatives with a results-driven, can-do mindset · Comfortable with and driven by double-digit growth targets · Go-getter, problem solver, and entrepreneurial attitude
