Cost Controller

Job Description : COST CONTROLLER ANGOLA FOR MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY a leading Steel Manufacturing company in Angola. The product range includes - Hot Rolled, Wire Mesh, Wire Rod and Billet. The successful candidate would support the Finance Director in the Budget and Forecast process. Implement a proactive analysis of the operational performance of the Group. Improve internal procedures. Assure that the financial and accounting issues are entrusted to the Company Accounting Department. Monitor and intervene in monthly closing of accounts, ensuring the correct allocation of costs and revenues. Execution of cost accountancy accruals at closing of accounts. Analyze and justify deviations to budgets and forecasts. Produce information that will be the basis of management and financial reporting. Work with Companies Management Team to optimize the accuracy of the information to the Budget or Forecast. Create the necessary Controls Structure that should be used in the execution and in the follow up of the company in order to reassess each activity remaining to be performed to complete the scope of work, and Validate the correct allocations Costs of the departments according to with the structure defined for each company. Assure that the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is defined and cover all the deliverables of the company. When applies, assure that the Project Breakdown Structure (PBS) is defined in order to have a hierarchical breakdown that represents the Project Packages responsibilities inside the Project. Calculation of the Standard Costs for the Production in SAP. Reporting of P&L Costs Structure on a monthly basis. Implementation in SAP of the Standard Costs, according to Budget approved. Prepare the Monthly Status Report to be presented to the Management. Candidate Profile: Masters or University degree in Finance Area, At least 5+ years of experience in Financial/Cost Control in industrial environments. Knowledge of IAS/IFRS. Knowledge in Management and Accounting. Ability to perform and lead audits. Knowledge in informatics (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). Good interpersonal skill. Good working knowledge of English and Portuguese.
