Project Engineer

Job Description : PROJECT ENGINEER SENEGAL leading Construction company in Senegal (West Africa). They are specialized in constructing multi-storey apartments, villas, commercial complexes, residential complexes, hotel projects, industrial projects in Dakar (Senegal). Job Responsibilities: Managing parts of construction projects. Overseeing building work. Undertaking surveys. Setting out sites. Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly. Supervising contracted staff. Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors, and with the Project manager. Coordinate with Architect, structural consultants, and Control office. Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site. Preparing site reports and maintaining Quality checklists, project documents, and paperwork. Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials. Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to. Qualifications / Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 8+ years of on-site project experience working in the construction industry required. Proven working experience as a Project Engineer Must have experience working on High Rise Building Construction Projects. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD. Advanced MS Office skills. Project management and supervision skills. Decision-making ability and leadership skills. Time management and organization skills. African experience would be advantageous.
