QHSSE Manager

Job Description : QHSE MANAGER DUBAI UAE FOR MANUFACTURING The QHSE Manager manage, implement, verify QHSE profile, culture, systems, and policies, also manages all QHSE activities within a department including but not limited to quality plan. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (includes key and additional responsibilities) • Quality; o Manages over-all manufacturing quality plan to include but not limited to inspection (e.g. visual and dimensional) and testing (e.g. performance tests and in-house/out-sourced laboratory tests) of all products and parts produced in Dubai Facility o Manage in-coming, in-process and final inspections. Ensure that all inspection hold-points are properly implemented. o Ensure that all special customer requirements are given higher priority of compliance against the standard assembly / tests requirement. Special customer requirements are included in the Work Orders issued to production. o Lead over-all management systems of the company which includes QMS (ISO9001). o Manage on-time closure of customer claims related to quality and coming up of an A3/8D as needed o Role is devoted to process improvement and to support the change activities. o Sample approval from internal and external production: manage the status of the components approval for either new products or new suppliers o Execute other jobs that may be assigned by the Plant Manager/Site Leader from time to time. • Health, Safety and Environment o Lead over-all management systems of the company which includes EMS (ISO14001), and HSE (ISO45001). o Ensure that Environment, Safety, Health and Security activities are carried out in compliance with policies, procedures and practices, of all sites as per local laws and regulations and other requirements (such as customers’ requirements). o Ensure that all applicable internal (for ex. EHS metrics) and external reporting requirements (to the local authorities) are performed accurately and in a timely manner. o Make appropriate notifications to the MET management and the emerging market EHS Director, regarding significant accidents, injuries, fires and other occurrences at the facility o Report unsafe act and conditions and work with management to initiate corrective actions for EHS program non-compliance. o Provide assistance, consultation and coaching to managers and employees in the implementation of EHS programs. o Access and review on-site and off-site areas of operations for compliance with EHS policies o Manage the EHS training program as required by requirements and locals laws and regulations o Can be selected and participate to conduct internal EHS audit at selected sites together with the EHS Audit Lead o Role is devoted to process improvement and to support the change activities o Execute other jobs that may be assigned by the Plant Manager/Site Leader from time to time. Adept in problem solving tools, kaizen, SPC 2. Strong leadership capacity 3. Excellent skill in communication and collaboration 4. Knowledge in different ISO Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45000) 5. Project Management skill 6. Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical. Electrical), preferably licensed 2. Certified Lead auditor in quality, health safety and environmental management systems. 3. With Six Sigma certificate is an advantage 4. Fluent in English ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (e.g. physical demands, work environment) He must be committed to the implementation of the different Management System, including but not limited to Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, of Dubai Facility which will minimize negative effects and advance positive impacts on the workforce and environment.
