Job Description : PLANT AND CI MANAGER DUBAI UAE AED 37K The role holder will be responsible for driving operational Task in Dubai Factory (including manufacturing, workshop, warehousing, Continuous Improvement, deployment etc), ensuring best in class operational and CI standards are in place to best support business growth. The role holder will share responsibility for sales targets as well as Gross Margins and for managing inventory levels. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for planning and implementing the strategies and objectives to deliver expanded operations and growth in the region. 2. The Plant Manager will manage safety, quality, on-time-delivery, working capital, cost management, regulatory compliance, margin controls, development and management of the operations team. 3. The plant Manager will champion new ideas, new initiatives and process encouraging a positive work environment to foster outstanding cooperation with key stakeholders, high performance and a safety-first culture. 4. Identify and assess the Operations organization’s capabilities; drive the development of the team to ensure adequate human resource capital to meet current and future business needs while managing performance of the team to foster a team-oriented environment 5. Provide leadership to create a culture of Continuous Improvement: establish and implement world class manufacturing processes based on lean principles to exceed safety, quality, cost, lead time and on-time-delivery to improve efficient of operations. 6. Create production, planning, and control processes as necessary and manage these processes, including logistics, material handling, and operational efficiencies. 7. Coordinate and balance customer requirements with manufacturing capacity, scheduling, production planning and materials control while optimizing inventory and determining optimal logistical flow of incoming and outgoing material and finished product. 8. Accountable for analyzing and understanding business and customer's requirements for operational capabilities and performance. Establish, track, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics associated with order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 9. Collaborate with cross functional teams to constantly improve efficiency and reduce the lead times for the assembly and delivery of parts through processes and procedures. 10. Manage and utilize people resources effectively, holding the team accountable; set objectives for improvement and implement programs accordingly. 11. Identify and assess the Operations organization’s capabilities; drive the development of the team to ensure adequate human resource capital to meet current and future business needs while managing performance of the team to foster a team-oriented environment. 12. Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timelines. Prepare operations performance reports for management review. 13. Forecast monthly revenue from new equipment to sales/finance. Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification: Required Qualifications: • Business degree or equivalent: • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Multi-language is desirable. • BS/BA Degree in a Technical field or Business. • 10+ years operational experience of Operations Management Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including ability to effectively coach, motivate, empower, develop and evaluate employees. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers. • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills and a high level of personal and professional integrity. • Strong bias for action (drive), and effective change agent. • Customer focus mindset • Proficiency in managing and facilitating teams through problem solving and conflict resolutions. • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a structured manner. • Able to work in a team environment involving multiple cultures. • Willing and flexible to accept new challenges.
