For further details please log on to www.seros.in Position Brief: Chief Financial Officer Job Purpose: The role has an overall responsibility of Fund Raising, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Accounts, MIS, etc. It includes all aspects that may constitute the responsibilities of a CFO of a large business. Key Deliverables: · Fund raising through appropriate and economic means, Manage and control Banking/treasury functions, coordinating, communicating & liaising with banks and FI’s for project financing compliance, cost reduction etc. · Maintaining strong relations with Financial Institutions through superior financial performance of the Business; to ensure long sustainable relations with Financial Institutions · Oversee all of the financial aspects related to the business, including all reporting and dealings with financial institutional partners with respect to ongoing capital projects and borrowing requirements · Responsible for the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the organization, as well as overseeing treasury, accounting, budget, tax and audit activities · Recommend business opportunities with respect to acquisition, disposition and reorganization of assets, capital and business interests. · Ensuring regulatory compliance and Corporate Governance. · Ensuring that Financing is made available ahead of time Functional Skills: · Exposure to Project Financing/Corporate Financing through ESG Funds, Private Equity Funds/Sovereign Funds/Financial Institutions/Banks. · Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions · Exposure and understanding to Indian & International financing options · Understanding of regulatory implications of complex local and international transactions Behavioural Skills: · Strong Leadership skills · Networking & Negotiation Skills · People Management Skills - ability to work with different teams and draw upon their resources and lead them to a common goal · Analytical and Conceptual Thinking · Strong Articulation Experience & Attributes 15+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably from Renewable Energy, Logistics Industry or Large Start Up Companies which is funded by Private Equity Funds. Desired Qualifications Chartered Accountant or MBA with specialization in Finance, from an institute of repute preferred.
