Job Description : CFO MALAYSIA An exciting Chief Financial Officer job has just become available at a company based in Shah Alam. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a part of the dynamic team. About the Chief Financial Officer Role: In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory reporting, treasury and pivoting company strategic directions, and reviewing, implementing and improving current processes. Key Responsibilities: · Direct or coordinate an organisation's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximise investments, or increase efficiency · Appoint department managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them · Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organisations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximise returns on investments, or to increase productivity · Establish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sites · Preside over, or serve on, boards of directors, management committees, or other governing boards · Direct or coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products · Direct or coordinate activities of businesses involved with buying or selling investment products or financial services · Serve as liaisons between organisations, shareholders, and outside organisations · Prepare operational or risk reports for management analysis · Approve, reject, or coordinate the approval or rejection of lines of credit or commercial, real estate, or personal loans · Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directors · Communicate with stockholders or other investors to provide information or to raise capital · Plan, direct, and coordinate risk and insurance programs of establishments to control risks and losses · Submit delinquent accounts to attorneys or outside agencies for collection To succeed in the Chief Financial Officer role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Requirements: · Degree in accounting/finance · Professional certifications in CPA, CMA, ACCA, etc. · Attention and detail-oriented · Excellent leadership skills · Modern work ethic · High appreciation for IT and automation · 20+ years Experience working in big accounting firms
