Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO APAC OUT OF PERTH AUSTRALIA Leading International listed service provider to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Power and Chemicals industries has a rare opportunity for an experienced CFO to join the Senior Management Team in a Regional role with a strategic growth focus. You will have direct reports across Australia as well as a number of countries in the Asia Pacific Regional Portfolio including Singapore, Thailand, China and the Philippines and will oversee Finance, Tax, IT, Procurement & Assets Key Responsibilities · As a member of the Senior Management Team you will clearly define and communicate strategic priorities and annual goals. · Ensure that accounting policies, procedures and controls are in adherence to all GAAP as well as Government regulations and guidelines. · Facilitate internal and external audits. · Lead, manage and coach (via direct reports) a large team across a range of disciplines in Australia and overseas. · Establish a financial plan that achieves the Regional Portfolio’s financial objectives including but not limited to growth plans, revenue goals and staff productivity targets. · Business Development including strategic analysis of revenue opportunities and projecting acquisition and expansion prospects. · Manage major projects and revenues from $50m to $1bn+ Key Requirements · Fully qualified (CA/CPA) Accountant with 20+ years post qualification experience · Previous and recent experience in a similar CFO level position · Heavy Industry background is a must; Mining, Oil & Gas, Services, Engineering, Building & Construction, Industrials · Large and multi-national listed organisation experience · Experience in leading a large team in a busy and buoyant market with competing priorities · Highly effective communication skills
