Job Description : Head – Fermentation API Manufacturing Responsible to Handle Multiple Manufacturing Plants API Manufacturing facilities leverage Complex Technology Platforms that Range from Microbial Fermentation, Chromatographic Purification & HPAPIs. Responsibilities: · Drawing up the Complete Production Schedule by Overseeing and Guiding Fermentation & Down-Stream Processes. Ensure Manufacturing Process are Cost effective, on time & Maintaining Quality Standards. · Handle OOS/OOT & Other investigations, Review DMF’s & handle / responding to Regulatory Deficiencies. · Closely Working with R&D for Effective Scale up of Products Monitor & Suggest Corrective Action for Any Deviation in Cost, Time & Quality. ·Understand the Regulatory Environment & Creating & Maintaining the Process ·Ensure Safer Processes & Plant Operation & keep the Plants Continuously under Control to Meet the Regulatory Compliance. Being a leader Providing inclusive Growth Opportunity to the Team by Guiding & handling Teams at Various levels. Ensure Plant upkeep & Adherence as per various Regulatory requirement & responsible for Audits from Clients / Customers. ·Maintaining, Sharpening & ensuring all SOPs for the Manufacturing Processes are followed. Managing the entire Manufacturing Team & Maintaining awareness about Time, Cost, Quality & Reduction of Wastages. Assisting Projects for Process Design & Detailed Engineering of fermentation & Downstream Leading the Team for Commissioning of New Plant. Experience: Hands on Experience With Over 20 Years in Fermentation Technologies. Experience of Manufacturing Fermentation based API’s / Statin’s / Peptides /Immunosuppressant is a plus. Should have Expertise in Generic API Product Development for Regulated Markets. Incumbent Must have Managed a large-Scale Operation facing all the Major regulatory/Customer Audits & Should have Strong knowledge of Quality Standards Qualification & Experience B. Tech/M. Sc/ M. Tech/PhD in Biotechnology/ Bioprocess Engineering / Microbiology with Over 20 years of Experience in Fermentation & Downstream Processing. Skill & Expertise Inspiring & Efficient leadership for the Technical & Scientific Team Ability to Communicate & influence to Achieve Delivery of Objectives Coordinate Tech Transfer from R&D for New Products Maintain Healthy Relations with internal & external Stakeholders. Business Acumen, Interpersonal Skills & Result Orientation
