Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER GHANA ( O&G / Upstream Services / Operations / Business Development / Expatriate ) an established company that is expanding their upstream services offering in the Oil and Gas sector in Ghana, is looking for an experienced and professional Country Manager to join the team in Accra. The ideal incumbent would be accustomed to opening a new branch, company or country offering in Africa within the O&G space. Responsibilities: · Responsible for organizational leadership and all relationships between the company and its clients within Ghana and required regions. · Ensure the company sustains market share and delivers profitable growth. · Operational management of the Ghana business daily, with a hands-on approach to producing solutions to strategic, technical, commercial, operational and personnel related challenges. · Lead the delivery teams on award of projects in achieving their goals and objectives. · Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, technically compliant and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. · Required to develop a high-performing, innovative and influential operational support function capable of devising bespoke technical solutions to meet client requirements. · Develop an annual sales plan for existing and future clients and ensure excellent client relationships are maintained by building openness and trust. · Ensure day-to-day operations maintain a continued alignment with overall corporate policy, strategy and direction. · Lead the constant drive and focus to improve operational efficiency via process, people or practical measures. · Deliver performance management objectives, agreed business plans, budget and targets and report on factors impacting on the business. · Carry out business development within Ghana and assigned regions including tender management. · Provide technical services to our clients in accordance with relevant targets. · Establish and manage the Ghana office in accordance with local legislation and governance. · Effective financial management of the Ghana Office, this includes budgeting, forecasting, analysis etc. Requirements: Qualification and Skill · University degree in relevant field. · At least 10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within the Oil and Gas industry. · 4+ years’ experience carrying out business development activities Benefits and Contractual information: · Residential Expatriate Position.
