Job Description : Sr. Manager - Opencast Mining Operation *Qualification: BE / B. Tech – Mining Engineering* *Job Location: Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo* *Experience: 15+ years* Job Profile: • *Experience in opencast mining, with HEMM fleet and heavy dewatering* • *Take full control of mine planning, dewatering, and geotechnical issues benches* • High level of competence in the use of *mine planning*, scheduling and reporting software. Experience with *DATAMINE, SURPAC*, DESWIK, MineSched etc. • *Fleet utilization* and manpower planning prepare weekly excavation plans and sections with quantity and locations • Prepare and revise monthly excavation plans with BCM quantity, ore quantity and quality for equipment deployment • Liaise with geology team to ensure all grade control data is utilized and reconciled against all operational planning tasks, Review of geological, geotechnical uncertainties and addressing the same with excavation plans • Task arising out of new initiatives in the geotechnical areas, emergency and unforeseen situation
