Job Description : Senior Manager — Finance & Accounts, MIS & Cost Control — Malaysia Reporting to: Group CFO I Direct & Indirect Reports: Direct Reports: Manager — Accounts — 2 Indirect Reports: 7 Finance Team Members Job Function: Heading Finance, Accounts, Risk management and Legal matters for the group in Malaysia Role deliverables: 0 Lead and monitor the entire function of accounting team structure and allocate responsibilities to determine clear accountabilities. 0 Liaise and negotiate with bankers for better bank facilities & Working Capital management 0 Review and finalise monthly management reports for the Group to ensure there is an accurate status of the financial position & report variance analysis of the Group. 0 Handle the insurance renewals and Risk assessment to ensure the company's assets are adequately covered. 0 Review all legal and contractual agreements for the Group and liaise with external legal counsel as appropriate. 0 Monitor currency fluctuations and according Forex hedge for the maximization of returns for overseas transactions. 0 Evaluate CAPEX expenditure pre- approval and post completion to monitor financial justifications for all significant purchases in line with business needs. 0 Coordinate with Tax consultants for all regulatory compliance and effective tax planning. Direct and indirect Tax compliance. 0 Prepare annual budgeting and forecasting process for the Group and monthly monitoring. 0 Implement and monitor all internal control systems are within compliance to achieve efficient operations. 0 Strong knowledge of IFRS & coordinate with statutory auditor 0 Co-ordinate with company secretary and prepare the necessary documents for Board Meeting. To participate in the Board Meetings as and when required. 0 Prepare Financial projections for new projects as and when required Education: 0 Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) 0 Any other related qualifications would be an added advantage Experience: 010 —15 years of working experience in finance and accounting in a manufacturing industry 0 Minimum 5 years' experience in the Managerial position Knowledge and skills required: 0 FROM MANUFACTURING COMPANIES ONLY 0 Excellent communication and influencing skills 0 Strong analytic and financial modeling skills & IFRS 0 Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills 0 Meticulous and good business acumen 0 Strong network and managing relationships 0 Risk Management and effective decision making skills. 0 Knowledge Sharing in the areas of technical and non technical 0 Proficiency in Accounting software. 0 Internal Control Systems, implementation of policies and procedures Internal Contacts: 0 Board of Directors, CEO, Dy CEO, VP, GM 0 Departmental Managers & Heads of Department — All units 0 All internal stakeholders/all employees CTC & Benefits given: 0 Rs.40 — 50 L per annum (Savings potential after expenses / taxation — Rs.20 — 25 L per annum) 0 Family Status given
