General Manager

Job Description : GM UAE FOR AUTO As a General Manager for one of our leading car brands, you will manage the brand's P&L (Sales and After Sales), resources and employees effectively and efficiently. You will plan, develop and present to management short and long term objectives along with ensuring that the brand and its associated business units are provided with all operational and technical assistance. You will also establish and recommend to management major operational objectives, prepare and monitor the annual budget, and achieve and maintain a high level of profitability in line with the Company’s requirement. You will ensure efficient utilization of manpower by recruiting and training the right staff, adhere to internal as well as principal quality standards and safety standards, ensure that the most superior services and facilities are provided to customers both at showrooms and workshop and ensure continuous improvement of these services and facilities. You will also be responsible to coordinate with the principal and suppliers and ensure that an amicable relationship is maintained with them along with investigating market trends and opportunities in developing advertising and promotional campaigns. To be successful in this role, you will have a sales and marketing/branding background in the retail car sales & aftersales in the automotive industry. You will have at least 15 years of experience, out of which 5 would be in a senior management role being completely responsible for a brand's P&L. Experience in the GCC market would be an advantage but is not mandatory. You will also have excellent communication skills with an above average proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of Arabic will be advantageous but is not mandatory. Strong knowledge of MS Office and Dealer Management System ERP would also make you stand out from the crowd.
