Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD THAILAND . Reporting directly to CEO, you will lead the strategic procurement for the business to ensure the procurement activities are aligned with short and long term strategies. About Engineer Procurement Manager Role: As a section manager, you will play a key strategic role in sourcing & procurement products and services to ensure cost effectiveness, excellent service & on-time delivery, warehouse and inventory optimisation. The salary offered is competitive with performance bonus. Key Responsibilities: · Devise and use fruitful sourcing & procurement strategies · To identified new business opportunities including profitable suppliers and initiate business and organisation partnerships · To negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms including review terms and conditions both new and existing suppliers · To ensure minimum unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies · To control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs To succeed in this Engineering Procurement manager role you must have successful track records in similar role, trading of machinery and its spare parts from leading MNC. Key Requirements: · 10-15 years experience, age 40 years old , with engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical · BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration are applicable · Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement · Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market · Talent in negotiations and networking · Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software · Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers · Experience in collecting and analysing data · Strong leadership capabilities
