Regional Technical Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL TEHCNICAL MANAGER VIETNAM ( EXPATS ONLY) About the Regional Technical Manager Role: In this business critical role you will be responsible for promoting the products, providing technical support and running trials, answering questions and supporting in the development of new solutions and products. Key Responsibilities: · Support and drive global blockbuster key account plans · Develop multi-level technical resources and train local Technical Service (TS) and sales teams · Initiate sharing cross-regional successes and learning · Ensure prompt support to key customers · Promote our products and systems at customers and run trials with local TS · Participate in fairs and seminars · Contribute to the R&D process with application know how · Develop and interact with fibre and machine producers · Support the screening of new products in the respective segment · Contribute to the development and maintenance of competition databases and analysis · Support the development of mid to long term strategy - Target market / PG / competitors · Provide feedback for technical developments related to new trends / fast growing segments · Support brands & retail team with their major customers / programs To succeed in the Regional Technical Manager job, you will need to have close collaboration internally with all necessary functions. Key Requirements: · 10 to 15 years of polyester dyes experience in textiles or related industry · Experience gained from multinational environment preferred · University degree in Textiles, chemistry, or chemical engineering · Business English proficiency is required. Mandarin Chinese speaking/writing is advantageous. · Strong level of cultural awareness · Experienced in working collaboratively in a matrix organisation · Customer orientated & results driven · Superior communication and influencing skills · Sound problem solving ability
