Factory Manager

Job Description : NATURAL RUBBER FACTORY MANAGER LIBERIA 1. As a plant Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the rubber processing entity in Liberia. 2. You report directly to the General Manager on site and you re expected to closely collaborate with the other departments on the plantation, as there are shipping & purchase, energy, workshop, agro and finance. 3. You are responsible for production, maintenance, laboratory and quality 4. You ensure the technical management of the industrial unit and all its technical components 5. You are also the man-manager of the entire team 6. You are the final person responsible for volumes, quality and deadlines 7. Concretely this mean - · Management, supervision and training of industrial unit's staff (about 70 employees) · Monitoring and management of stocks and spare parts · Cost control and budget monitoring · Monitoring and control of key KPIs · Administrative reporting to management · Technical studies and management of small projects in the context of continuous improvement. These technical projects are managed in close collaboration with the Groups's technical management based in Brussels, Belgium. Desired Candidate Profile Age > 35 Sex - M/F Education - Engineer (level - M.Sc. Any discipline) Experience - Atleast 10 years of working experience in Natural rubber industry Specialization - Electro-mechanical know how is a big plus Languages - English Computer skills - Microsoft Office and CAD Other - · Keen interest in all branches of engineering (chemistry, mechanics, electricity, agronomy, thermo-dynamics, civil ) · Strong motivation to work with practical and hands on challenges · Experience with tropical Africa is a plus Skills · Competent, dynamic, efficient and result oriented · Independent thinker able to work within a team · A field person with excellent communication skills · Practical experience with electro-mechanics is a big plus · Versatile and motivated to work in several technical fields · Capable of following a budget and control expenses · Leadership potential with ambition to progress · Willing to live and work on plantation located in rural areas · Open and social person even after working hours
