Job Description : TECHNICAL MINING GM INDONESIA Your main responsibility will be to support a large, complex business unit with a regional remit. About the Technical GM - Mining Role: Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Technical GM - Mining will play a key role in the continued development and success in several sites across Indonesia. Key Responsibilities: · Take charge of the direction and management of key technical functions (metallurgy, mining, geotechnical, hydrology, power, ports etc.) to support project development, execution and delivery · Lead and manage respective technical managers to ensure alignment and consistency across all project development · Ensuring stringent application to safety, health, environmental and quality policies · Optimise project economics and outcomes through rigorous technical assessments, risk management and opportunity management To succeed in this Technical GM - Mining role, you must have good budgeting skills, technical skills, good leadership and management skills. Key Requirements: · 15 years's experience in project management with a degree in Mining or Metallurgy · English proficiency is a must · Experience specific to mining, mineral processing and metals industry is compulsory
