Senior Process and Equipment Engineering Manager

Job Description : PROCESS AND EQUIPMENT ENGINEERING SENIOR MANAGER MALAYISA An attractive Process and Equipment Engineering Senior Manager job has become available at a start-up manufacturing and production company in Penang. Reporting directly to Director of Engineering, this role is part of the greenfield team focusing data science and engineering. About the Process and Equipment Engineering Senior Manager Role: Due to the continuous growth of the company and for future expansion plan, the Process and Equipment Engineering Senior Manager will play a key role for the timely execution of new product ramp to hit predefined cost, cycle time, yield and quality targets. Key Responsibilities: · Be responsible for the effective ramp up of new products and packages in assembly manufacturing site to meet overall assembly yield, cycle time, cost, quality and utilisation target · Work with cross-functional site teams to execute transfer of pilot products and ramp up new product road maps · Carry out process optimisation, material optimisation and design of process controls jointly with the site teams · Validate and baseline the CPK, POR, TOR and BOM for the transferred products and packages · Support customer samples and engineering samples build during ramp up stages new products and packages · Collaborate with cross-functional teams achieve seamless coverage on any issues involving cross site parties and external suppliers · Execute and meet overall automation initiatives · Lead the team in improving process yields, quality, cycle time, cost, OEE, through continuous improvement activities/projects to meet BIC targets · Coach and provide career development, identify strengths and create specific development plans for the team · Establish goals, conduct performance appraisals, provide recognition and drive accountability To succeed in this Process and Equipment Engineering Senior Manager role, you must have strong knowledge in end-to-end engineering know-how focusing on both process and equipment engineering. Key Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering · Minimum of 15 years' experience in SMT and PCBA industry with at least five years in a managerial position · Core strength in SMT, PCBA and HLA · Excellent leadership and management skills · Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members across the globe · Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills · Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
