Supply Chain and Contracts Manager

Job Description : Supply Chain And Contracts Manager (Mining / Projects / FIDIC / NEC / Service Agreements) – West Africa with strong EPCM contracts management experience within the mining sector to join their team on site in West Africa. Responsibilities: · Managing procurement activities throughout the project phases. · Ensure procurement requirements and responsibilities are well-defined and represented. · Developing project procurement and contract accountabilities. · Developing and implementation of strategy, standards, systems and processes. · Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. · Draughting service contracts and managing the execution thereof. · Procurement of equipment contracts and quality control of equipment received. · Tender process and adjudication management. · Overseeing shipping and expediting activities. · Driving continuous improvement processes. · Ensuring in-country tax and commercial compliance. · Providing mentoring and training of subordinates. Requirements: Qualification and Skill · Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or commercial discipline. · 10 years previous in supply chain and contracts management within mining projects environment. · Experience draughting and managing service contracts for all project areas. · FIDIC and NEC contract experience. · Experience in the implementation and management of procurement and commercial systems. · Experience in shipping and expediting across Africa. · Document control experience. · Available on short notice. · Previous experience mentoring and training in-country nationals in an expatriate role in West Africa.
