Head of Execution

Job Description : HEAD OF EXECUTION QATAR Supports Project Management Team (PMT) in managing and controlling project execution (brownfie ld and greenfield), both offshore and onshore, by providing guidance to the team, ensuring timely and effective directions are followed in all aspects of planning and executing the workload. • Ensures overa ll compliance with Projects Execution Plans, specifications, and procedures by promoting effective communication and teamworking together with best practice sharing to improve operational efficiencies. • Participate in technical bid evaluations of a ll tender packages by reviewing and endorsing, pre-qualifications, evaluation and award of contracts and monitoring the performance of incumbents to ensure effective service is being provided as per contractual agreement. • Leads or contributes to project workshops related to Execution such as, Complexity, Contracting Strategy, CDRA and HAZID, HAZOP, LL, VE etc., ensuring timely resolution to problems and challenges through best practices, industry standards and knowledge gained from personal experience. • Coordinates Lessons Learned (LL), Approved Vendor List and Va lue Engineering (VE) for a ll Major Projects, to ensure previous lessons learned are utilised and that new lessons learned are captured. • Coordinates Projects Approved Vendor List (AVL) for all Major Projects involving a ll the stakeholders to ensure that the AVL is updated and is made available to all the Major Project users. • Leads by example demonstrating high integrity in all details of managing a multi-cultural team and creates a project environment that encourages everyone to contribute to their best ability, thereby completing complex tasks minimal intervention out with the team. • Oversee and ensure timely preparation, review, submiss ion and approval of project expenses and reporting to Major Projects Groups as required. • Demonstrates effective interaction with Company Project Teams and departments to resolve issues and ensure projection execution in line with approved schedule and costs.Requirements: • Bachelors ’ degree in Mechanical, Chemica l or Civil Engineering or equivalent. • 15 years’ experience working within oil and gas industry in a Project Execution related environment with broad experience of projects, engineering, operations and managing Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC contracts and having at least 3 years supervisory experience.
