Mine Manager

Job Description : MINE MANAGER AFRICA international Mining company. The business is a full pit to port operation that extracts, processes and distributes products internationally. They own and operate several Extraction companies, Processing Business as well as Ports and distribution businesses. They are seeking Mine superintendents to oversee day to day operations at one of their extraction sites. Specific responsibilities will include: · Planning, directing and coordinating all aspects of the quarry, loading and production operations as directed by the Operations Manager. · To follow the QHSE procedure/policies set by the Company Top Management. · Maintain plant availability for production requirement. · Organizing, deploying and managing crushing plant personnel and equipment, including any sub-contractors, to meet the required production and SHEQ targets standards. · Preparing all crushing plant planned maintenance programs and controlling of all production and maintenance spares and consumables. · Reacting promptly to any unscheduled plant breakdowns and organizing the relevant remedial action. · Responsible for establishing shift production schedules. · Ensure, Quality, environmental and health and safety issues are in compliance to the statutory requirements. · Supervising and managing employees. · Schedule and conduct plant meetings. · Reporting on department activities and results to the Operations Manager Requirements: · 10 years’ experience in Mining · Ideally degree educated · Ideally worked at sites with >10 Mtpa · Managed large crews >100 people · Ideally have experience in managing diverse workforces in international setting
