Job Description : SENIOR MANAGER KSA FOR AUTOMAMTION AND ENGINEERING FOR FOOD/DAIRY 18+ years experience Key Result Areas - To maintain and maximize operational availability of the process and filling/packing automated systems by providing adequate skills, material and management; - To meet management performance parameters by ensuring adherence to defined product specifications, quality, safety and engineering standards. Role - To plan and execute planned preventive maintenance of Automation Equipment by meeting demand of the site. - To plan and execute instrument calibration as per master plan. - To maintain the integrity of the process software and regular archiving to backup. - To assist the project team in all Automation related issues by liaising with external resource as required. - To ensure compliance to Quality procedures by meeting site target for continuous improvement. - To ensure adequate skills to meet site present and future needs by identifying and planning staff development. - To ensure full implementation of safety systems and safe practices of work by upgrading safety awareness and practices with in the team. - To participate in procurement process by creating RFI, Supplier Assessment, Quote comparison, PR creation, Planning, Issuing GRN and closing. - To adhere to finance procedures by controlling the Automation spares and expenditure. Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan, ensures effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities. Experience: - Minimum 7-8 years- experience in a similar role in a multi-product dairy/food environment; - Detailed knowledge of process and packing control systems; - Detailed knowledge of implementing and maintain advanced automation systems and controls; - Good knowledge in Siemens S7 and Wonderware PLC systems; - Good understanding of visual basic/SQL and knowledge in design/operating and maintaining PLC/SCADA systems. Educational Qualification - Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related discipline. - Supplementary qualification in instrumentation /electronics.
