General Manager

Job Description : GM UAE Contract: Single Status Qualifications: · University degree in an engineering discipline. · MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a business school · Min. 20 years of experience in their field of expertise in the UAE · Preferably working in an EPC Company · Experience in managing Sales and Projects teams Job Description: · Strategic Contribution - As a member of the Management team, contribute towards the formulation and implementation of overall business strategies and plans. · Leadership - Ensure the effective achievement of sales and projects functional objectives through the leadership of the sales and projects function. · Budgeting & Cost Control -Direct the preparation of sales and projects budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget. · Organization Development - Define an optimum organization structure for the Projects & Sales Department so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place · Operational Management - Direct the allocation of resources (physical and human) and direct the implementation of appropriate controls and Instructions. · Contracting - Develop relationships with key third-party construction contractors & Identify and review new suppliers and technical solutions for any new supply chain strategy. · Strategic Sales - Provide support to major sales initiatives to ensure that the company’s commercial interests are protected. · Expansion- Direct the timely conducting of business development and evaluations in order to determine the financial and technical feasibility of expanding the business.
