10 yearsJob Description : LNG BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (FRANCOPHONE AFRICA) Location: Initial days at Abuja, later he should be Flexible to relocate within the West Africa Region Reporting to: COO As the BDM for Francophone Africa, you will be part of the Greenville team, which focuses on identifying and distributing LNG across Francophone countries. This role covers a vast and extremely dynamic territory with more than 375M people living across 20+ countries. Assist management in relation to written and verbal communication in the French language. Knowledge of the global LNG liquefaction, shipping and receiving terminal operations. In- depth understanding of LNG Sales & purchase agreement contracts. This position requires flexible thinking, self-motivation, drive, integrity and confidence. The incumbent should have a positive open style of communication in order to develop considerable networking links into the LNG Supply, LNG Shipping & a wide range of organizations across west Africa. Your overarching goals will be to (1) identify and onboard new customers like: Shipping companies (Main Focus) Manufacturing setups Transport companies (Big trucks & Heavy earth movers) Mining companies Power generation companies Roles &Responsibilities: New Business Development/Sales – Identify, approach and close deals with organisations that are interested in buying LNG for their power consumption. Customer Regas installation Engaging with power companies for Genset/Turbine etc for power solution to client Working with Government bodies for understanding the regulatory requirement Sales closure, LOI, GSPA and approvals Client Management – Provide product training for new customers, and assist existing Greenville partners in improving operational efficiency such that they are better able to scale up Research and Analysis – Work with clients and industry stakeholders to develop relevant market research and collect competitive intelligence to support Senior Leadership in decision making Freelance Sales Agent Management – Recruit and manage country-level commission-based agents to source additional bulk orders Operations – coordinate with plant team for logistics & other arrangements Sales MIS, budgets, actuals, collections KPIs Achievement of revenue targets for the region (country-specific) Onboarding of new customers (Specific focus to shipping & Mining industry) in several countries Development of a sales pipeline of opportunities that will lead to a growth of market share Required Skills & Experience: Fluency in French and English, Excellent existing network with relevant stakeholders in key Francophone markets 10+ years of relevant professional experience in west Africa handling similar business Proven B2B sales experience and love for the sales process and closing deals Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time
