Supply Chain Manager

Job Description : SCM THAILAND FOR AUTO Rayong, Thailand, to lead team of 6 people in this vital department to drive overall performance of manufacturing and logistics of the company. About the Supply Chain Manager role: Reporting to General Manager, you will be fully responsible for all materials and logistics related activities including materials & production control, supply & demand planning, logistics and warehouse management. The salary offered is competitive with bonus and provident fund. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and direct material planning, production planning, demand planning, inventory management, logistic management, warehouse management as well as 3rd party management · Manage team and 3rd parties to ensure compliance with company standard and KPIs · Responsible for strategic planning to manage and control materials supply from both local and oversea suppliers as well as daily operation to minimise inventory · Responsible for leading annual physical inventory count · Review and update expense of department and inventory budget · Ensure production plan supports the requirement with on time delivery (both milk run and sequencing) to clients · Responsible for driving cost saving/implement and lean concepts. · Liaise with both external and internal stakeholders e.g. Program manager, Safety committee, and Quality To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to lead and unite effectively and possess a keen understanding of supply chain management for multinational organisation. Key Requirements: · Bachelor's Degree in related field with master’s degree is a plus · At least 10 years’ experience working in planning and logistics related function in automotive industry and at least five years’ experience in management role · Knowledge of SAP, CMMS · Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 · Good command in English and Thai due to the nature of business This innovative 1st tier automotive part supplier needs no introduction and is recognised as the leader in their field of expertise.
