Procurement Manager

Job Description : PROCURMENT MANAGER NIGERIA · Setting product standards / quality of materials for procurement · Evaluation of vendors and followups · Set procurement schedule and procure items · Coordination with Plant & Raw material stores for materials management · Negotiate Contracts with vendors · Create LPO's on time · Ensure delivery time lines, pricing and specification of procured item · Visit vendors and trade shows and plan for best materials Data Analysis: · Create a procurement plan · Analyse product rates from each vendor · Ensure & meet procurement price objectives · Ensure running inventory of materials needed for a quarter Desired Candidate Profile · Very Good knowledge of ERP systems Tally, Sage or SAP · Very Good Knowledge of MS word , excel & Outlook · 8 years experience in this post · Has held a post in a manufacturing company either in Chemicals/Beverages or foods · Candidates having prior work experience with companies like - Frito-lays, Haldirams, ITC, Uncle chips, Balaji Wafers, Yellow Diamond(Pratap snacks), Bikajee or any similar food companies are preferred · Good communicator fluent in English language and good English grammar · Should be able to communicate well · Positive approach and Team Player Perks and Benefits Location : Lagos - Nigeria Job : Full time / Bachelor Status / Shared Accommodation / Travel-Home & Plant / To & fro Tickets / Yearly Annual leave Compensation : upto $1800/- pm (based on experience) + Local Allowance
