Job Description : DGM-Projects & Operations ( Site / Plant Head) Job Location- Pithampur ( Indore)-M.P. Company-Well Known MNC Education & Experience- BE/B. Tech having 20-25 years of work experience in Food / FMCG / Pharma industries. Salary- 75-90 Lakh p.a. We are looking for a dynamic leader who has thorough knowledge of executing greenfield projects ( Size of around 250-300 Crore) & heading operations of large companies in Food / Pharma / FMCG. Significant hands-on experience on MEP, utilities and general engineering with specialization in refrigeration and familiar with good engineering practices. Basic production skills and understanding of food manufacturing processing. JD- Manage the Project, Installation and Commissioning of the upcoming site. Manage the design and operational protocols, project, budgets, Review engineering drawings, layouts, cost estimates etc. Work closely with internal stake holders & design consultant agency to finalize design for the facility, process, utilities & traffic inline, local statutory requirement to meet the business objective. Accountable for the on-time, on-budget and safe execution of the project. Responsible for procurement, contract strategy, selection of contractors & suppliers. Negotiate and Lead Tender Processes in consultation with VP – Operation, SCM & Projects. Ensure smooth & cost-effective installation & commissioning of Utility systems like steam generations & distribution system, Refrigeration Systems (Chillers), HVAC systems, Water treatment systems (purified water, WFI, Pure steam generation plants, Cooling towers, Compressed Air, Nitrogen gas generation systems. Post installation and commissioning run the plant as Plant Head. Set up strategic plan for production and maintenance in close coordination with supply plan. Co-ordinate with Production, QC, R&D, Logistics, Supply Planner, Stores, HR, Admin, Marketing / Sales, Accounts / Finance for effective & efficient operations of the plant, in developing, testing and launching of new products (NPD) , managing budgets / cost, to resolve customer complaints, maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies, procedures and government requirements to effectively control operating income and achieve cost-saving targets for the plant.
