Civil Engineer

Job Description : CIVIL ENGINEER NIGERIA Candidate with 10 yrs. of experience in the field of industrial construction (Iron/Power), Industrial building, Material handling systems, Township and should have handled at least one project as Sr Engineer. Preference will given for those candidates, who is having construction experience in DRI plant, Pillarization plant, power plant Job description: Sr Engineer will be a single point responsibility for end-to-end co-ordination during execution of Civil and Structural works under assigned project. It involves the coordination with Engineering team, Supply chain management, Construction team. Supervise site activities, in charge of day-to-day management of the site, including monitoring the site productivity and the work of any subcontractors Sr Engineer has to ensure readiness of Civil works as per the project schedule. Prepare/Review and enforce company quality control and health and safety matters standard operating procedures for construction sites. Review the drawings , estimating quantity and costs of materials, machinery, manpower etc. Certify the RA bills of contractor Should have knowledge of CAD/AutoCAD, Planning, Conceptual Skill Should enforce the quality assurance requirements of contractors / sub-contractors Own and manage detailed construction schedule at construction site. Should be Conversant with MS office, Word, Excel, Auto cad. Sound knowledge of Project Management Techniques and Project Management Tools like Primavera, MS Project will be added advantage In-depth understanding of construction, materials, and industry
