Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO OMAN 20+ years experience The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) should perform effective risk management and plan the organizations financial strategy. The CFO will report to the CEO of the Company and will closely interact with the Board of Directors and the founder shareholders to benefit from their long experience of sizeable and well diversified portfolio, huge pool of resources & expertise in related fields and strong presence in the region. · Close interaction with the board of directors and its sub committees leading to harmony and cohesive decision making. · Develop strong understanding of the code of corporate governance and related laws and regulations, ensure full compliance and update / develop related policies and procedures on a regular basis. · Undertake the role of company secretary, conduct of board and shareholders meetings in compliance with the law, prepare minutes of the meetings and seek approvals from the board and regulator, respectively. · Monitor short and long term financial performance of the Company through tracking of key performance indicators · Preparation of the financial statements under local GAAP (statutory) and under IFRS · Ensure financial reporting to the management, the board, the shareholders, the lender and the capital market authority as required. Meet reporting requirements of founder shareholders as per their processes, systems and tools · Liaise with the Company's internal auditor for timely preparation of audit plans, completion of audit and submission of audit reports.
