Job Description : GM FINANCE PUNE leading manufacturer of electrical engineering products Responsibilities: As the Head of Finance, Accounts and Audit of all locations of the company, he shall be responsible for consolidation of Budget, Taxation, Cost audits, Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Goods and Service Tax (GST) returns and assessments Continuous management of financial systems, preparing budget, development of internal control policies & procedures, maintain accounting records, review & finalization of accounts and management information. All aspects of Accounting, Banking, Legal, Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Statutory Compliance Driving Cost-optimization initiatives and engage with key stakeholders and also the finance and accounts teams across all locations for reviews and redressal of concerns Management and Transactional Responsibilities · Provide leadership to finance and accounting areas of the organization · Oversee preparation and finalization of monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet, budget and variance, projections and forecast and cash flow · Manage and oversee the processing of financial transactions including payroll, accounts payable, revenue and expense, fixed assets, cash, bank reconciliations etc. · Ensure that all financial transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards · Monitoring of GST filings and calculations, handling litigation and business advisory activity in taxation · Plan and Manage monthly finance reviews with business and management · Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy, and provide guidance and analysis to executive and operational management to improve results · Provides direction and directives to the departmental team members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and in achieving management objectives Reporting Responsibilities · Assist in issuing timely, accurate and complete financial statements and all tax returns · Assist in production of cash flow reports, annual budget, and forecasts and report significant issues to management. · Development, Preparation and review of various MIS reports to meet the organization’s needs. Compliance Responsibilities · Develop and institute financial processes and controls and ensure implementation. · Prepare and assist with developing audit schedules for the annual audit requirements. · Suggest improvements in processes to increase organizational effectiveness. · Oversee all tax related and local statutory compliances. Candidate Profile: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 18 - 20 years of post-qualification experience in the manufacturing/engineering products industry, a Company Secretary would be an added advantage Age 40-50 Years Willingness to travel across other office locations Exposure having worked with multi location / multi product environment would be an added advantage Secretarial compliance experience is highly desirable In depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards Ability to develop and institute financial process and controls Good understanding of IT and financial software Strong commercial & business acumen People Management skills Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills Excellent Organizational and Analytical Skill
