This includes a broadening of its' investment and asset portfolio (c$3bn AUM), diversified geographical reach across the GCC and Europe and a commitment to business transformation to improve company-wide performance and value. This includes a current mission to drive operational transformation. The appointment of a number of high-performing Finance Executives is now required and who will form a top-flight team to drive digitalization, the development of a data analytics suite and appropriate shared service functionality to deliver the very best financial and performance analysis within a streamlined structure. The Position Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will be responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating the finance activities of the Business Unit where there will be a need to provide complete financial management and accounting services for the business. The Finance Director will be task with coordinating and reviewing financial close and consolidated results, ensuring periodic results are accurately reported and rigorous financial controls are in place. There will be a need to develop and maintain internal controls systems whilst ensuring adherence to compliance standards and government regulations. Naturally, the Finance Director will need to provide leadership and coaching to the underpinning finance team.. The Person The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with an Accountancy or Finance Degree and circa 12-15 years of relevant experience. Interested candidates must have prior experience of leading a sizeable finance team and a career cultivated within either a well-known, top-tier Real Estate Development, FMCG or large-scale Multi-Sector Conglomerate environment. The role requires candidates with strong communication skills, an analytical mind-set, problem solving abilities and a strong track record of leading a team.
