Senior Mine Manager

Job Description : Senior Mine Manager based in Limpopo. SOUTH AFRICA The role will ensure business optimization and improvement, by ensuring mineral resources optimization through the consistent delivery of maximum product - working safely in a cost-effective way with minimal waste. The Manager (Mining) is responsible for leading the mine operational management team as well as mining personnel and resources. The incumbent will be responsible for beneficiation plant on surface to produce budgeted saleable tons at the budgeted unit cost. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: • Degree or National Diploma in Mining or Equivalent • Mine Manager Certificate of Competence • Senior Leadership Programme (Will be advantageous) • Business Management Degree / Diploma (Will be advantageous) • 15 – 20 years mining experience (10 years must be in Management) • Knowledge of the mining process, standards, procedures, safety, and legal requirements • Knowledge of policies and relevant legislation
