General Manager Operations

Job Description : GM OPERATIONS INDONESIA global manufacturing company in East Java. About the General Manager Operations Role: As the General Manager Operations, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the company and for production, manufacturing, P&L and all aspects to the business's success. You will be reporting to overseas headquarters, but will also have a local reporting line. Key Responsibilities: · Ensure a good relationship with the government/local authorities and the surrounding community so that the plant operational activities run well · Guide and lead a team/crew in the frame of the company bullets/targets and the actual law and regulations will develop the staff, team and organisation and act as coach and mentor · Control the product quality based on the high-quality standards and its delivery on time to satisfy smiling consumers · Support a cost efficient production, within the company budget, and control the tobacco consumption · Control a function-related plant-maintenance to keep assets in optimal conditions · Analyse and advise on the impact of long-range growth initiatives, planning, introduction of any business development and business expansion strategies · Ensure the compliance with all regulations concerning safety and an environment to keep the actual licenses for the business unit To succeed in this role as the General Manager Operations, you should have a strong background managing large teams of production, manufacturing, operations, supply chain people and you should have a basic understanding of manufacturing as well as the agricultural sector. Key Requirements: · Essential experience in manufacturing processes without high automation · Experience with Indonesian labour and customs law/regulations · Experience in (international) project management · Experience in setting up a new business unit/organisation · Know-how of general business administration · Entrepreneurial personality and identification with products and company
