Project Manager 

Job Description : PROJECT MANAGER – MALAYSIA FOR MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS TECHNOLOGY semiconductor manufacturing firm based in Kedah. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, this is a role for a candidate who has strong project management experiences in the manufacturing industry. About the Project Manager (Manufacturing Operations Technology) Role: Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Project Manager (Manufacturing Operations Technology) will play a key role to oversee the start-up site of the plant expansion focusing on manufacturing operations technology projects. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the overall projects and sub-projects of manufacturing operations related technology of a start-up site to include different workstreams of automated material handling system, equipment integration and MES readiness for production ramp-up in a timely manner · Manage, coordinate, report-out the multiple projects being implemented for the start-up phase for this project and drive these projects into successful integration and go-live. Be accountable for execution and tracking of programme deliverables for OT throughout the start-up phase of the new site · Work with operations and other stakeholder teams to analyse operations technology aka factory integration/automation implementation requirements. Analysis and documentation of both functional and non-functional business needs · Prepare, review keep up to date the program dashboards, performance metrics, scorecards including weekly and monthly programme status updates. Manage and monitor backlogs, work streams, risk registers and delivery of project plans and end-to-end timelines · Drive the operations, engineering, OT, purchasing, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders in the project team to work towards the agreed deliverables. Perform good project management tasks to ensure timeline and system readiness goals are achieved To succeed in this Project Manager (Manufacturing Operations Technology) role, you must possess experience in manufacturing application related project management experiences. Key Requirements: · Master/bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Science, IT or equivalent Technical Degree. More than 15 years of working experience in a CIM/factory integration/factory automation environment with an operations centric mindset · Experienced in project management – ability to define and control project scope, schedule, budget, risk and issues handling · Strong in multi-project management capabilities. Experience leading and completed multiple CIM project life cycles in the domains of EI, MES, RMS, R2R, FDC, etc. · Strong understanding of Semiconductor Wafer Fabrication processes would be advantageous. · PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus · Highly inquisitive, logical and intuitive nature with an attention to detail, creative and innovative.
