Job Description : GM/DGM – Procurement & Trading INDIA Experience- 15yrs Experience in EPC Power & electrical, manufacturing & greenfield projects, Metals & Minerals Qualifications-Btech/Post Graduate/ MBA in SCM Responsible for - Procurement & Tendering- Identify suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Evaluating tender documents from a technical point of view in order to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards and coordinates for the overall risk assessment and bid decision. Consults and coordinates with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders and proposals and attends pre-tender Finalizes estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tender documents for management review and approval. Trading- Person having experience in procurement and trading of metals & minerals like Manganese / Iron Ore/ Bauxite/ Ferro Alloys etc. Negotiation and Finalisation of deals with domestic and international customers Should be a trader doing both purchase and sale and will be responsible for profit and loss of the transaction. Actively seek new Customers globally and develop business with them in Ores/ Ferro Alloys. Monitoring existing customers requirements to fulfil on priority and also monitor and control outstanding’s of customers To develop new sources and suppliers of various metals & minerals. To coordinate with logistics and accounts team to ensure that the transaction is concluded properly and in time.
