Commercial Manager

Job Description : COMMERCIAL MANAGER Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE • Actively work with finance tea m, ensure disputed invoices are settled and payments made at the earliest • Analyse project financial accounts and monthly reports to assess financial risks providing good judgement and advice as required • Assist legal team in negotiation of final settlements on contracts with our diems • Be actively involved in preparing appropriate correspondence, record keeping, meetings and pro-active fallow up for all commensal impacting issues on projects • Conduct and participate in regular project reviews to identify risks and opportunities to SIBCA project financial • re'mverk.pr7,1 maintain all project contract management processes and procedures • Lead all project contractual matters like contract compliance, thange management, cost reporting, claims preparation and daims mitigation strategies • Negotiate claims and variations as well as responding to claim and variation challenges • Play an instrumental role in the preparation of strategies to manage risks and opportunities, and execute strategies • Fhwide best practice and lessons learnt input as part of bid support to ensure commercial terms are well managed during the bidding stage • Excellent English written and verbal skills • Experience in FIDIC • Claims management and arbitration • Commercial acumen • Credible & ethical approach in execution of roles & responsibilities • Leading team of quantity surveyors • Ability to work under pressure, independently, and prioritise • Experience in MEP contracts in capaaty as contractor • Badlekar degree in Quantity Survey', • Member of Royal Institution of Chattered Surveyors (MRICS) preferred • 15 years experience in Quantity Surveying with previous experience as Commercial Manager • Experience working with Main Contractor preferred
