Vice President

Job Description : VP GLOBAL BUSINESS HEAD INDIA 20 -25 years experience Key Skills to Possess: Business P/L Head, Global work exposure, International B2B Business development and Client negotiation ability, Engineer, Mechanical / Auto Industry exp. pref. 2-wheeler components Role Global responsibility to develop and grow the 2-wheeler business sector for the Group products. Reporting to President-AP and Global Head of BD & Sector Management (and MD-India ) To actively drive all activities for the Sector growth by leading global cross-country & cross-functional teams and defining and achieving relevant KPIs (sales & profit) · Through a strategy derived from future market trends, ensuring execution by building strong organization structure, covering Sales, Application Engg., R&D, BD, and possible production locations. · Defining/ developing a global product portfolio considering the Groups strengths & existing portfolio, driving product innovation, and aligning with relevant stakeholders · Increase sales for the sector including identifying new business opportunities with existing customers, new market activities, building a close relationship and network with global customers Desired Candidate: Strong entrepreneurial spirit, initiative & aspiration, plus a proven record of successful execution in a world-class Matrix organization. Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills Work Experience: Successfully managing a Business Unit, with a Regional or Global portfolio and growing a unit by increasing sales as well as new product introductions · P&L responsibility with an understanding of how to positively influence sales and profit KPIs · Experience in organizational development, building up teams and empowering them, leading different functions with a focus on sales and application engineering · Experience and background from Engineering / Auto component industry, motorcycle pref. · Preferences: Experience of international assignment in Asia, Managing customer projects, pref. with Japanese etc. Leadership: Managing for results · Ability to understand relevant KPIs for successfully managing sector as well as having an in depth understanding of interdependencies of relevant KPIs · Very strong in goal setting, monitoring and developing measures. Able to motivate and lead the team to achieve the goals · Ability to understand different goals in the matrix organization and translating them into successful steering of the sector · Very good understanding of business theories and able to execute them as an entrepreneur Connect for success Ability to navigate a Matrix organization and build required network and linkages, in diverse cultural environment; Empower and direct teams, establish efficient and effective processes
