Production Supervisor

Job Description : PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR VIETNAM An Indian group engaged in manufacture of rice based starch products, based in Vietnam, is looking for the following position: We are looking for a professional from the grain (wheat/ rice grinding) milling industry for the position of Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include: 1. Managing production and meeting production targets 2. Production planning 3. Plant maintenance 4. Managing Food Quality systems 5. Managing mechanics and labour. Shift operation. 6. Complete factory premises upkeep as per quality standards applicable to the food industry. The ideal candidate will be about 40 years old with 10-15 year experience in the grain (wheat/ rice) milling industry. Knowledge of rice milling wet and dry process preferred. Should be a hands on operator with machinery like roller and hammer mills, sieving systems and pneumatic and mechanical conveyors. Must be a qualified electrician. Knowledge and ability to work with Quality systems like ISO, BRC etc will be preferred. Must be very strong in documentation and be willing to follow procedures very strictly. Must be strong in simple mental maths. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Non-smokers/ non-drinkers preferred. The position is based in southern Vietnam. Salary provided will cover accommodation, food and utilities for a single man, with savings to send back to India. Holiday for four weeks once every twelve months.
