General Manager

Job Description : GENERAL MANAGER – SAUDI ARABIA various Engineering projects worldwide, managing and delivering project solutions to the Construction, Infrastructure, Oil, Gas, Chemical and Production Industries. They are currently seeking a General Manager to be located in Saudi Arabia as the Owner’s representative in the country, to ensure all statutory and legal requirements are met with full compliance to safety and quality. The GM is committed to achieving and delivering a business plan and generating and ensuring a two-year sales order book for the company, playing a key role in developing business in the region. Candidates should be degree qualified in ELECRICAL OR INSTRUMENT engineering and management, and from the Oil & Gas and/or Hi-Tech industry with at least 15 years’ experience and 5 years in the management capacity in the oil and gas or Hi-Tech industry, with a proven track record of developing proposals and delivering sales and capable of managing USD$100m business plus outstanding leadership skills, good business acumen, strong strategic and analytical skills and knowledge and experience of international business. Preferably with previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or other Middle Eastern countries. Responsibilities will include Team motivation and management, development of the country’s systems, running the business in an organized and disciplined manner, driving the business forward and delivering profits. Responsible overall for the Quality Assurance and Control Management, HSE, Financial Control, Business Development, Project Control and Commercial Risk, Program Management, Staffing, Lead and Control, HR in conjunction with the relevant aforementioned Departmental Managers
