General Manager Sales and Marketing 

Job Description : GM SALES AND MARKETING GHANA · Product Oriented · Should have good product knowledge of Flexibles including Laminates, Rigid Plastics and corrugated cartons. · Should have experience of understanding Customer requirements and motivating the Production Teams to develop customized solutions for the customers to perceive Win – Win approach · Should be able to grow business and improve profitability by innovation. · Customer Oriented / Competition Mapping / Branding · Experience of mapping competition, strategic understanding of the market space and customer segments and developing suitable strategies for retaining and growing sales and customer base · Proven track record of developing strategies for enhancing customer experience, retaining customers and also win back key customers · Should have good skills in handling customer complaints and their resolution effectively · Ability to motivate the Production teams to take up quality and productivity initiatives, as per requirement of the Customers · Must have good experience of working with Channel Partners / motivating and managing channel partners for successful growth and brand penetration · Must have excellent experience in handling B2B businesses and building effective customer relationship · Must have handled MNC customers and won long term contracts – including experience in participating in e-procurement processes · Develop and implement effective Brand Building and Communication strategies for the product lines chosen · Commercial Skills & Complexity management · Must have strong commercial acumen to ensure improved bottom line. · Must have handled diverse business segments · Must understand the sensitivities of forex variations and its impact on pricing / market opportunities Requirements Educational Qualifications: · MBA, Marketing Knowledge and Experience: · Minimum of 15 years of experience in Sales & Marketing of Plastic Products – at least in two lines out of – Flexibles including Laminates, Rigid Plastics, Corrugated Cartons and Woven Sacks. Experience of selling to multinational & other reputed customers using plastic packaging is must. · Must have handled business of above $ 40 million per annum will be preferred. · Minimum 5 years’ experience as Sales & Marketing Manager in a company of repute operating in highly competitive environment in India. · African experience will be an added advantage Key Competencies: · Ability to lead and manage diverse teams (over 20 members) · Networking skills for business performance and growth. · Ability to mentor and develop high-performing team and retaining them · Motivate teams directly / indirectly with him and work as one team – one face to the Customer · Mature and passionate about people and business · Resilient and focused – bring “never say die” attitude · Self-motivated and highly energetic · Entrepreneurial attitude Requirements: · Good Stability · Qualification - MBA, Marketing · Experience of handling business of above $ 40 million per annum will be preferred. · ?Aged Bracket – 38-45 years, Candidates above the age of 50 will not be considered. · Ability to lead and manage diverse teams (over 20 members) · Young and energetic candidates at Senior Manager/AGM Level aspiring to move up the ladder would be preferred.
