Procurement Manager

Job Description : Procurement Manager Job Location- DIP, Dubai Education- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Industry Exposure- Oilfield Components Manufacturing Experience- Minimum 8Years Salary - up to 12000 AED Monthly Job Summary:- Ideal candidate would have exposure in procuring- Steel- (SS316, SS304, Carbon Steel, MS), Lathe & Milling Cutters, Jigs & Fixtures, Tool Holders(Lathe & Milling), Inconel Material & Chemicals for Coatings, Phosphating & Plating. Initiates the ordering for raw materials in shop floor. Includes local PO’s, outsourcing, machining, turnkey. Coordinates with intercompany transactions pertaining to raw materials. Maintains material inventory. Monitor material consumption based on trend or pattern of material consumption of the year. Monitor supplier performances which includes delivery and quality. Review and evaluate parts drawings this includes material grades, coatings, and other specific areas. Provides costs for raw materials and outsourcing items. Review subcontractor's performance and maintain records. Review sub-contractor/s for potential addition to the system. Generates reports from ERP (Open PO/ WO report, inventory report, and monthly performance matrix) and initiates updates on day to day basis. Maintain On-Time delivery for all open purchase orders. Coordinates with logistics and warehouse for parts coming in and out and HS codes for products. Coordinate with the Quality department for revisions of specs and procedures. Continuously make improvements in the department's performance. Review the policy/procedures in purchasing on a regular basis to maintain its effectiveness.
