General Manager 

Job Description : GM SOUTH AFRICA massive manufacturing organization in South Africa as well as internationally is currently looking for a General Manager to add to their team. Requirements: · Qualified Earthmoving Mechanic or Mechanical Engineering related qualification Postgraduate Business-related qualification is essential · Applicants must have previous Senior Management experience in a related field of at least 8 years. · Ability to compile, implement & manage budgets. · Strong motivator / people skills. Must be able to present reports at high level. · Ability to negotiate at the highest level. · Must be prepared to travel regularly. · Ability to analyze market trends & forecast future demands. · Knowledge of customer's business, especially quarrying, mining & construction Duties and Responsibilities: · Control the entire Central Region, including Customer Service Centre’s in the central region · Ensure that Central Region has the structure, networks & processes in place to meet the expanding needs of the end customers. · Manage team members through establishing KRA's & ensuring that all have the skills & knowledge to carry out their responsibilities. · Ensure that the organisation's entral Region meets short & long term sales targets. · Meet profitability targets as set by the company. · Monitor & drive up service levels & ensure that the organisation's level of customer relationships remains a top priority for all team members. · Ensure that Central Region adheres to all legal standards regarding employee health, safety & that good employee relations are promoted, BBBEE and Employment Equity. · Drive high performance culture throughout Central Region through the promotion of teamwork & effective internal communication. · Ensure a market plan exists to increase Central Region's market share & to establish markets for all the company's products.
