Engineering Manager

Job Description : ENGINEERMING MANAGER KENYA FOR TELECOM 1. Developing designs of power systems, data center systems, and/or cooling systems as applicable. 2. Reviewing contract documents, e.g. construction contracts, drawings, studies, method statements, commissioning manual, and procedures. 3. Assesses potential data center locations and provides expert advice on the suitability of a location proposed for the development of a data center. 4. Provide commissioning support to staff, and maintenance and troubleshooting support of data centers. 5. Review operations and provide training within the data center. 6. Develops technical solutions to meet customer requirements. 1. Minimum of 8-10 years of Data Center Design and Construction experience. 2. At least Certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP) or equivalent. 3. Knowledge of power generation control systems, uninterruptible power systems, power system earthing practice, and equipment standards. 4. Prior experience of data centers designed and constructed with multi-megawatt capacities, etc.
