Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO MALAYSIA A Malaysian company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (Main Board PLC). In this job, the CFO plays a crucial leadership role in setting the direction and strategy in this company which has over 30 years of solid growth and history. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for driving financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, financial controls, corporate finance and strategic planning across the group. · Engage with the CEO and senior management team in driving the business from a strategic and commercial perspective · Lead and oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group for reporting and management purposes · Supervise and oversee the preparation of quarterly financial reports for audit committee, board of directors, as well in compliance with listing requirements of Bursa Securities · Manage and oversee the financial budget and business plan for the group and monitor variances and gaps against budget and plan · Implement and oversee the financial management, financial strategy, budgeting and tax planning for the group · Be involved and assist in commercial and financial evaluation/feasibility studies on any material capital expenditure and investment proposals To succeed in this Chief Financial Officer job, you will need to have experience in leading a public-listed company, along with a well-balanced understanding on strategy, commercial and statutory requirements. · 20 years of work experience within public-listed companies in Malaysia · Good knowledge of business strategies and business operations in a diversified environment · Strong analytical skills in making effective business decisions and judgements · Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) · Maturity, wisdom and ability to exercise fair judgement in decision making · Maintain a high standard of quality and a progressive mindset
