Job Description : MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL IN CHARGE FOR BEVERAGE PLANT TANZANIA Co. to be based in Tanzania' East Africa with many manufacturers such as steel, plastic tanks, pipes, paints, etc also involved in various sectors such as real estate, logistics, food, and beverages & hospitality. Candidate Profile: Education Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering & electrical engineering. . Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 15+ years in the Beverages manufacturing Industry. Roles and Responsibilities Job Role: · Having excellent mechanical & technical knowledge of all the machines like Carbonated Soft Drinks line, Juices line, Tetra pack (Sacmi), Shrinkwrap, Filler. · Having a good utility operation knowledge like Blow mold, labeler, overhaul, conveyors, compressor, chiller, water treatment, agro waste boiler, spares, maintenance, electrical repairs, program, gen set, etc · Effective management of Operations, production, purchase management, Inventory Control & management. Efficiency and cost mgmt. · Responsible for working in a safe manner, supporting and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, etc · Monitor, track, efficiencies providing employees with clear focus and upper management with updates on shift performance. · Reviews production and operation reports. · · Responsible for all the production lines covering CSD Line, Juice Packing line (PET & Tetra Both), Water Bottling line, & Preform, Closure & Shrink Wrap production. · Excellent understanding of beverage manufacturing /process /knowledge of machines and capabilities. · Understanding and implementing Water treatment, all chemical usages, CIP, Changeovers, Reducing time-lapse, Wastage reduction, Co2 Losses reduction, syrup loss reduction, etc · Responsible for working in a manner, adhering to all policies and procedures that support Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory requirements. · 100% Compliance ensuring on all statutory matters related to the company · Employing experts for each job profile and train locals, Cost per carton to be reduced. · Facilitate continuous improvement and growth within the company · Ensure timely, cost-effective manufacturing of all products. · Troubleshoots unusual or difficult issues requiring coordination and communication across departments. · Provide positive reinforcement, constructive criticism, and disciplinary actions as appropriate. Desirable Profile: · Strong domain knowledge · Maintenance and procurement knowledge · Hand on experience and work on during repairs, maintenance, and overhaul · Training locals and ex-pats · Evaluating current employees on expertise · Reducing costs · Outstanding Follow up on actions and commitments.
